JOB SUMMARY:
As the Digital Ecosystem Strategic Marketing Analyst you will use data and analytics to influence, educate and shape the digital ecosystem strategy. This teammate will be the point person for insights generation, environmental scanning, market and scenario analytics and new opportunity mapping.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Responsible for monitoring market trends, adoption of digital solutions and competitive activity 
  • Outline and quantify aspects of the digital strategy and leverage data to help the team make strategic decisions about value proposition, prioritization of product concepts and business model development
  • Interpret primary and secondary research sources to create and manage comprehensive market models through assumptions about market trends, customer segments, pricing, investment and competition   
  • Conduct modeling for all digital opportunity assessments and digital business cases
  • Maintain an opportunity map of adjacent spaces and manage prioritization
  • Build data repositories to support on-going analysis and scenario planning by the digital team by proactively recommending data strategy and tools to support assessments
  • Leverage business acumen and market understanding to make data-based recommendations based on analysis
  • Active role in design and execution of market research engagements and use insights to enhance analytics
  • Provide analytical support for partnerships and market pilots as assigned 
  • Manage and report digital transformation team metrics

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or related field is required; MBA or MS desired
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with building complex models from large data sources and making recommendations to senior management
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • High degree of business acumen and understanding of healthcare market 
  • Ability to build complex financial models
  • Ability to balance big picture orientation with attention to detail
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to various audiences
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple manner
