JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for business process analysis and re-engineering of business applications.  Actively participates in capturing and defining business process design requirements with Stakeholders and documents use case requirements in conjunction with application product owners.  Works in an Agile development environment to target and implement high value application features that accelerate high value business functions.   Operates on customer facing and back-office solutions and cross-functional areas assisting with business definitions, user story definition, delivery effort estimates, verification testing and solution implementation within the business.

 

ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

       Serve as a liaison between business functions and agile development teams to clarify technical definition and business solutions that meet high value functional needs

       Analyze and understand business operations identifying improvements that leverage Midmark product and application opportunities

       Work closely with product owners to formulate and define solution scope and objectives through research as well as an understanding of the applicable business systems, industry requirements, standards and best practices

       Work closely with stakeholders and products owners to document detailed user stories as Product Backlog Items that support prioritization and execution of development

       Collaborate within the Scrum team to establish product release timelines, perform Sprint planning and mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of Sprint/Release goals

       Conducts and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other types of testing

       Participate in the creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and documentation of delivered solutions  

       Help educate the organization on the direction of the Midmark platform within the business, and has a good understanding of Midmark transformation trends

       Communicate effectively across various levels of leadership and functions

       Work with marketing team(s) to ensure Midmark solutions are well understood and acknowledge within the company

 

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business functions, customers and technical requirements to drive adoption of Midmark’s Cloud Platform solutions
  • Coordinate with product owner(s) to ensure Cloud Platform solutions are well-aligned and prioritized to continuously evolving business, market and customer needs


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or MS desired

  • Five (5) years of related business analysis, requirements management and user acceptance testing in software system solutions; RTLS or Cloud experience preferred

  • Two (2) years’ experience with Midmark RTLS business operations and functions preferred


COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience defining and maintaining digital requirements that drive product backlogs

  • History of strong quality assurance practices, including documentation of QA best practices, test case creation, test result documentation and QA or ISO process definition

  • Strong consultative, listening, communication and analytical skills

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), able to communicate effectively with both technical and business users

  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Strong program management on cross-functional and Cloud/Hybrid technical projects

  • Capacity to succeed in a collaborative and dynamic start-up type environment

  • Demonstrated experience translating Business needs and processes into products and/or solution requirements
