Lead, and coordinates activities of hardware, firmware and system engineers for new product development and sustaining engineering projects. Technical leadership skills along with program management skills.


• Support the design and development of Hardware, Firmware and System including verification and validation of design to ensure the timely completion of products within specified performance parameters.  
• Strong leadership and influencing skills along with technical skills in Electrical, firmware, Mechanical, and system engineering.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with cross-site groups, vendors and individuals at all levels of the organization
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis and Reliability Engineering/Test for new and existing products health checks and calculation and measurement of Reliability from Test and from Field Returns .
• Generation of technical system level specifications from a higher order specification, and subsystem level specifications from those which entail requirements derivation
• Performing in-depth systematic root cause analysis, containment and corrective/preventive action to drive manufacturing, design or supplier 
• Review overall design, specifications and detailed requirements to ensure efficacy, feasibility and compliance. 
• Develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with key functions within the business, vendors and staff throughout the company.  
• Work with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to ensure that the new product development and sustaining engineering projects comply with Midmark quality system and FDA regulations.
• Responsible for leading and facilitating Risk analysis and FMEA activities.
• Work with manufacturing to create and update manufacturing and test procedures.
• Apply technical engineering to support the design of systems, products, and their features
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic, Bio-Medical engineering or related discipline. 5-10 years of related experience with a track record of making substantial contributions to the design, development and commercialization of successful products and technical leadership experience with Electronic, Firmware, and electro-mechanical design.  


• Familiar with either of the following Software/programming languages:   LabView,Test Stand, C, Altium, Creo, SolidWorks
• Experience in a Class II or Class III FDA regulated environment.
• Experience with Medical Device Process Validation is a plus.
• Experience as a program manager or project engineer a plus.
• Good Technical writing skills.
