JOB SUMMARY:
Remotely support and perform complex technical problem solving duties related to Midmark products.  

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • (Versailles/Lincolnshire) Troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues. 
  • (Versailles) Troubleshoot Pneumatics / Hydraulics issues.
  • Troubleshoot software/hardware issues with internal and external customers via various methods such as phone, email, chat, and remote control/assist software.
  • Troubleshoot network communications issues.
  • Troubleshoot windows operating system issues. 
  • In depth knowledge of testing and updating various Midmark products.
  • Organize daily tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a good rapport with internal and external customers
  • Record customer communications within the company’s call logging system via Midmark processes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES:
  • The candidate must be willing to travel to customer sites to repair equipment and conduct training occasionally as needed.
  • (Torrance) Duties may include providing in-house IT support.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred. At least 1 year of previous experience is preferred or a combination of education and experience.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent preferred or ability to obtain A+ Certification.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Ability to interact with the Engineering team to solve complex issues.
  • Ability to use test and repair equipment.
  • Network+ Certification preferred (Lincolnshire and Torrance) or ability to obtain Network+ Certification. 
  • In depth knowledge of computers and operating systems.
  • Ability to work with different personality types while remaining tactful and diplomatic.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.  
  • Ability to multitask and resolve to issues analytically.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and sort priorities in order to achieve timely quality results.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Understanding and ability to engage in MPS skills and concepts to develop a continuous improvement culture.
