JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for hosting Midmark guests and teammates which includes various types of facility tours, entertainment, activities and transportation.  The host keeps groups on time and effectively communicates changes to appropriate departments. Must be a high energy, self-motivated, and professional to host professionals in healthcare.  This person must be able to work flexible hours, possibly some evenings and weekends. This position will require contact with external and internal customers; therefore, the teammate must be friendly, and professional.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Share our story utilizing technology and products so customers truly experience Midmark.
  • Deliver a superior experience for all guests through informational tours, highlighting products and manufacturing processes throughout Operations. These tours include walking for long periods of time throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Learning and development - keeping up-to-date on new information and the latest Midmark product knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with Outside Sales, Marketing, R&D and other key areas to ensure customer presentations are first-class. 
  • Continuous improvement of our curriculum, customer experience and presentations. This requires a host to be self-aware and adaptable to many different situations and environments.
  • Coordinate and execute seamless tour schedules and other special events 
  • Host a variety of people and will need to quickly adjust tours and schedules to meet the needs of both the customers and the business.
  • Provide safe transportation of Midmark guests while utilizing Midmark vehicles Must be an approved authorized Midmark driver.  This includes a driver background check.    
  • Setting up of classroom type setting for meeting and training experiences.
  • Assist Guest Services Manager with activities associated with guest visits
  • Purchase supplies or meals for guests using a Midmark credit card.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Good problem mechanical and solving skills a must. Past experience in healthcare equipment is a plus.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledgeable in healthcare products and services.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, demonstrating a strong, reliable work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with public speaking and comfortable with presenting our story.
  • Dependable team player who assists others without being directed.
  • Technology experience: Microsoft Office programs.
  • High level of professionalism, friendly, and well-kept at all times.
  • Possess a valid Ohio driver’s license with clean driving record.
